Artisanal Cheese Fondue with Black Pepper Bacon Bake

8 ounces
Sliced Pepper Crusted Bacon (shredded)
8 ounces
Pumpkin Powder
1⁄2 gallon
6 ounces
Krystal Pure Cave Aged Cheddar (shredded)
6 ounces
Smoked Gruyere (shredded)


Preheat oven to 350°F. In a stock pot render bacon until golden brown. When bacon is golden brown, add butter. When butter is melted, add flour and stir for about 5 minutes over a medium flame. When flour is cooked, add cold milk and stir. When milk starts to thicken, add cheese and shut off flame. Place stale bread in a casserole dish, and pour cheese mixture over bread. Bake bread casserole until golden brown.
