Fondo di Toscana® Provolone
Provolone is an extraordinary cheese which originated in the southern region of Italy. The name Provolone was introduced from the Neapolitan word "prova" which means drawn-curd cheese. It is made from whole pasteurized cow's milk and aged for 12 months, resulting in a savory and hearty cheese. Our Fondo di Toscan® Provolone is made by a cheesemaker who obtains high-quality pasteurized milk from selected and controlled cows, as well as performs the delicate task of shaping this cheese. A true Italian Provolone.
